A large pharmaceutical company came to Infotrieve seeking a way to make physician sales calls more efficient with the use of e-detailing. To address these needs, Infotrieve worked with the client to develop a technology allowing electronic documents, i.e., eprints of select product-related journal articles and sales aids, to be delivered to physicians quickly, easily and in a trackable manner. The marketing team managed the electronic document inventory, ensuring that only approved materials were available to share with physicians. Sales reps utilized the system during in-office calls, right from their smartphones and iPads. The consumption and usage data were reported back to the marketing team, and used to inform and improve strategy, further driving business results.
