A mid-sized company with few content licenses, a research staff accessing content on a self-service basis and no reproductive rights licenses came to Infotrieve seeking a single-source platform that would centralize its information services and support functions while ensuring compliance with copyright requirements.

Sites were able to customize their notification templates, reports, etc., as best fit their different user groups but were able to retain a one-solution approach. E-content was accessible quickly and simply, with immediate availability, down to the article level. Infotrieve further provided rights management capabilities, copyright-compliance auditing and a 360-degree view of content usage across the company.

The new system eliminated the practice of multiple journals being purchased by different departments, resulting in cost savings. The increased internal efficiency created a consistent, easy-to-use portal for research staff members by providing a single point of access to all their content licenses along with a vast collection of scientific, technical and medical content accessible on a pay-per-use basis.
