INFOTRIEVE, INC. PRIVACY POLICY
Last Updated June 7, 2012
We at Infotrieve, Inc. (“Infotrieve,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) have created this privacy policy (this “Privacy Policy”)
because we know that you care about how information you provide to us is used and shared. This Privacy Policy
relates to the information collection and use practices of Infotrieve in connection with our online services, which
are made available to you through a variety of platforms, including, but not limited to, http://www.infotrieve.com
and http://mobilelibrary.com (collectively, the “Website”) and our mobile app, which is accessible through tablets,
cell phones, personal digital assistants, and other mobile devices (the “Mobile App”). The Website and the Mobile
App are collectively referred to as the “Platform.”
Description of Users and Acceptance of Terms
This Privacy Policy applies to visitors to the Website, who view only publicly-available content (“Visitors”) and end
users (“End Users”), who have signed up to use our on-demand, software-as-a-service (the “Service”) via the
Platform.
By visiting our Website, Visitors are agreeing to the terms of this Privacy Policy and the accompanying Terms of
Use.
By accessing and/or using the Service, each End User is: (i) agreeing to the terms of this Privacy Policy, the
accompanying Terms of Use, and any orders executed by such End User via the Platform (each, an “Order”); and (ii)
representing that he or she is an authorized representative of a company that is an existing End User of the
Platform.
The Information We Collect
In the course of operating the Website and the Platform, Infotrieve will collect (and/or receive) the following types
of information.
1. Personal Information
When you sign up to become an End User, you will be required to provide us with personal information about
yourself, such as your name, address, e-mail address, and phone number. We do not collect any personal
information from Visitors when they use the Website unless they provide such information voluntarily, such as by
registering or sending us an e-mail or signing up for a newsletter. All information we collect and/or receive under
this section is collectively called “Personal Information.”
2. Billing Information.
When End Users sign up to use the Platform and/or complete an Order, they may be required to provide certain
information in addition to the Personal Information noted above. Such information may include a debit card
number, credit card number, expiration date, billing address, activation codes, and similar information. Such
information is collectively called the “Billing Information.”
3. View and Print Data.
Infotrieve uses a third-party software program that tabulates the number of views and prints of certain documents
procured through the Platform that contain digital rights management restrictions from a publisher. Such
information is collectively called the “View and Print Data.” Such View and Print Data is anonymous, in that we
collect only an End User’s IP address and the number of times a document is viewed and/or printed.
4. Order Information.
When you place an Order, you must provide us with certain information about the document you are seeking, such
as the title, author, and publication. Such information is collectively called the “Order Information.”
5. Access Credentials.
You may voluntarily provide us with your access credentials (e.g., username and password) for any online
publications to which you subscribe. Such information is collectively called the “Access Credentials.”
6. Other Information.
In addition to the Personal Information, the Billing Information, the View and Print Data, the Order Information, and
the Access Credentials, we may collect additional information (collectively, the “Other Information”). Such Other
Information may include:
a. From Your Activity. Information that we or our technology providers may automatically collect
when you visit, access, and/or use the Platform, such as your IP addresses, Internet service provider, browser type
and language, referring and exit pages and URLs, date and time, amount of time spent on particular pages, what
sections of the Platform you visit, number of links you click while in the Platform, similar information concerning
your use of the Platform, and information about your mobile device or tablet.
b. From Cookies. Information that we collect using “cookie” technology. Cookies are small
packets of data that a website stores on your computer’s or mobile device’s hard drive so that your computer will
“remember” information about your visit. We may use both session cookies (which expire once you close your web
browser) and persistent cookies (which stay on your computer until you delete them) to help us collect Other
Information and to enhance your experience using the Website and the Platform. If you do not want us to place a
cookie on your hard drive, you may be able to turn that feature off on your computer or mobile device. Please
consult your Internet browser’s documentation for information on how to do this and how to delete persistent
cookies. However, if you decide not to accept cookies from us, the Website or the Platform may not function
properly.

understand, however, that no security system is impenetrable. We cannot guarantee the security of our databases,
nor can we guarantee that the Information that you supply will not be intercepted while being transmitted to and
from us over the Internet. In particular, e-mail sent to or from the Platform may not be secure, and you should
therefore take special care in deciding what information you send to us via e-mail.
